Things are a little rough for Lucy and her family as the debt becomes more of an issue and the pharmacy they have had forever is not bringing in much income.Lucy seems to be a natural at problem solving. She  is always wondering about the future of the pharmacy because she loves it so much her grandmother and mom try to tell her not to worry it is not her place but she cant help it.
After then , not only she becomes Old Mill's go-to make-up artist/beauty consultant, but she also starts to hatch a plan that might very well salve the pharmacy, particularly after she combines it with all the things she's been learning at Earth club.
Each chapter starts off with a beauty tip for the readers. The pharmacy issue takes a big part of "My life in Pink & Green" but the story has its happy parts as well. This book is a funny and sweet with a narrator who knows what she wants in life , whether it’s great makeup. The plot of the story is very interesting it will leave you wanting more to find out how the story ends. The ending of the story is quite shocking and caught me off guard. I would recommend this book to pre-teens and teenagers. Girls from 12-16 because every girl has a girly side they can get in touch with.

Sounds like this book has something for everybody: suspense, beauty tips, environmental advice.
